The Carlos Sánchez Jr. - EnFamilia Scholarship 2022-2023

Foto Carlos 1.png

The Carlos Sanchez Jr. - EnFamilia Scholarship is designed to assist  Latino Students in Arizona as  first-generation college students in pursuing a graduate degree. Carlos Sanchez Jr. was a very active
16-year-old junior at Moon Valley High School in Glendale, Arizona. Carlos was a smart student and son who hoped to graduate from college and keep practicing sports and also active volunteer alongside his family.

But sadly in October 2017 a tragic event took his life while he was playing football, his favorite sport.

This Scholarship was made to honor and  remember the life of Carlos Sanchez Jr.
and in his memory help other young students reach their goals, break down barriers, open doors and access higher education that will bring success into their lives and our community.
